Jazz Hands

Yesterday, I decided to treat myself and get that manicure I wanted for my Birthday celebration that's extending well into this week (YOLO). This is honestly the third time in my life i've ever gotten my nails professionally done and every single time, I get overwhelmed by the hundreds of colors to choose from. If you're like me and suffer from indecisiveness and you're also a mild commitment-phobe, it's time to make a game plan. Here is a cute little chart I made last night with my favorite mani and pedi pairings that are perfect for Winter without being totally stuffy or boring. I hope you enjoy! Also, what's your favorite combo listed here, or just in general?

  1. Great pairings. I usually just do my toes with nothing on my hands so I'd pick the sand and aubergine. I also love that sky blue colour.

    1. Thanks Lili! Those are my favorite ones as well! I always gravitate towards neutrals or really dark colors like black and navy :) Hope your week is good so far!

  2. Ooooh such pretty color combos! I usually do something subtle on my fingers (I'm weird about my fingernails not clashing with my clothes) and something super bright on my toes. Because looking at my neon toenails makes me really cheerful for some reason. Neon green is my fave!!

    1. Thanks Emily! That's so cute! I'm the same way with that! I love dark colors on my fingers because It matches everything and I don't get sick of it, and then I pick a wild one for my toes hahaha Being a girl is so hard/dumb sometimes isn't it? The things we have to worry about...

  9. I've only gotten my nails done twice before, and both times I was super unsure about what to get so this is a fun reference! I love the Sand and Aubergine combo, but for this time of year I'd probably opt more for Poppy and Gold. They all look great though!

  10. Would normally go for a classic red, deep blur or greys. Sand & Aubergine seems like an interesting combination too :) Can't wait to get my abre nails coated for the weekend.
